I missed the coat mishap too NI, but oh ITA, Jack was soooo mad!!
I don't know why it is, but for some reason when Mary and Jack started shouting, and Mary was like OH YEAH, YOU HAVEN'T SEEN MAD YET!!(paraphrasing what Mary YELLED. And Jack SHOUTED at the top of his lungs, my mind suddenly went to Jackie Gleason in "The Honeymooners", but BOTH Jack AND Mary were Ralph Kramden!! ;D
I don't know why I almost laughed at what was actually a tragically sad scene. Maybe I am immuned to their shouting and I don't hear the intensity in in as much any more?
Mary was just so Ralph Kramden(sp?), BEFORE Jack was!!

On the other side of the coin, it is so sad that two women right now on RH, Mary and Jill are having babies and both are so sad, and mad at the prospective fathers.
Then there is Pat, who surprised me by saying" I think the best thing is to put the baby up for adoption", to a stunned Delia.(Did her plan ever not work, yet.....)
I would think that Pat knowing he has a child on the way would have said "my mother will raise our baby, as she is raising your and Frank's child."
Lot's of surprises for me, seeing this for the first time! Like Frank's telling Jill to give her baby to Seneca, and not raise it herself!! (as if she were Delia'ish', concering motherhood.)
That worked for his owned child being raised by his mother, instead of his ex-wife, although Delia did not actually hand LJ over to Mave and Johnny. But in truth, Maeve and Johnny were parenting LJ long before the custody hearing. Neither Delia nor Frank are the 'parent type', it seems.
Sorry to digress on this thread, lots of thoughts about all of the tension in the SL's airing right now, on RH.
