There wouldn't be room in that tiny apartment, even if Jack were willing. And rents being what they are these days, there's no chance of moving.

Hi Bob!
If you are watching Castle, that's a cue to me to put it on the "check it out" list...
GREAT to "see" you! I'm sure Wanda has shared how much your posts are missed here...
I hope you stop back often!

Thanks, Marianne, for your very kind words. I hope that you and everyone on the board are well. I'm afraid I'm not watching RYAN'S HOPE these days so I don't have much to contribute. But I felt I should let everyone know about seeing Nana Visitor and of course I will if I see other RH stars on TV, in films, or in plays.
And I now have to add: I'm not a fan of CASTLE but just happened to watch last night. Based on my very occasional viewing, I would not recommend that you put it on your "check it out" list.

It was a two-or-three lines kind of role. Anyway, one of her character's kids was named Alicia although it was pronounced "A-l-e-e-s-h-a " on tonight's show

I'm watching Judging Amy on Gospel Music Channel (! uplifting entertainment) and Andrew Robinson is playing the defense lawyer appearing in her juvenile courtroom. He looks real good in his maturity! Next to Northern Exposure this is my favorite series of all time. This channel is bleeping out any word which it finds offensive and skipping episodes that have "forbidden" subject matter. But, I'll take what I can get to be able to watch it, especially Tyne Daly.

Hi Kathy!
I followed Judging Amy when they rebroadcast the eps (on Lifetime?) a few years back.
I thought it was one of the SMARTEST and most AMAZING series that got cancelled! So glad it made it to 5 years to get to syndication...
FABULOUS writing and EGGSELLENT cast!
ITA with you about Tyne Daley...

Marianne Marianne, It was broadcast on TNT a few years back when I first discovered it. I think it was in the last year on CBS at that point and I saw a few episodes there. The episode today was when Maxine met Jared Duff played by Richard Crenna. I love it when these old actors pop up and we get to see them again. Kathy

Today I was reading the current ABC Soaps in Depth. Finola Hughes is returning to GH and she's my all time favorite. Anyway, there was a four page spread on Ron Hale being honored with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. There were many attendees from RH including, Daniel Hugh Kelly who Ron said he hadn't seen in 20 years, Jeff Pierson (also a Frank), Ilene Kristen and Judith Chapman. I wanted to run in here and tell all yall about it. hahahahahahahaha

Today I was reading the current ABC Soaps in Depth. Finola Hughes is returning to GH and she's my all time favorite. Anyway, there was a four page spread on Ron Hale being honored with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. Thanks for sharing that, Kathy. Daytime Emmy Nominated actor, Ron Hale, will be honored with the 340th Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. The star will be unveiled during a star dedication ceremony on Saturday January 7, 2012 at 3:00p.m. at 445 North Palm Canyon Drive. Robert Alexander, President of the Palm Springs Walk of Stars, will preside over the event. The public and media are invited to attend.
Any ABC soap fan worth their bubbles recognizes the names "Roger Coleridge" and "Mike Corbin." These are two staples of ABC daytime history brought to vivid life by the talented and fascinating actor Ron Hale, who was named as one of the “Best 50 Soap Actors Ever” based on rankings by 15 different soap critics and journalists who have covered the genre over the past 35 years.
It’s been 45 years since Ron Hale unpacked his one suitcase in New York City and went to his first class at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Primarily a theater trained actor, daytime work helped support Ron’s theatre work. As a young actor starting out, Ron Hale was cast on “Search for Tomorrow” playing Walt Driscoll. That was followed by his role in the television series “Love is a Many Splendored Thing” where he played the role of Dr. Jim Abbott.
Some of Ron Hale’s other career highlights include playing the role of Sturgis in “All The President's Men” (1976) as well as his long time role on “Ryan's Hope” playing Roger Coleridge (1975-1989). That was followed by his role on “Port Charles” were he played Mike Corgin (1997-2003) as well as playing Mike Corbin/Michael Corinthos I on “General Hospital” (1995 - 2011). Ron Hale has many nominations and awards for his tremendous body of work including 2 Daytime Emmys Nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor for Ryan's Hope in 1979 and 1980 as well as the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Villan for Ryan's Hope in 1986. "We are proud to honor Ron Hale with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars", said Bob Alexander, President of the Palm Springs Walk of Stars.
The Palm Springs Walk of Stars, founded in 1992, has honored 339 individuals with a Golden Palm Star placed on the sidewalks of Palm Springs. Show business Honorees must have made an impact worldwide in the area of show business. All other star honorees must have contributed to the charm, worldwide prominence and name recognition of Greater Palm Springs. A video made up of Ron and friends. I'll also put the photo and video in the photo and video threads.

I just turned on the local NBC channel at 10:50 P.M. EST to watch the 11:00 P.M. local news. NBC seems to be running a little late. LAW AND ORDER SVU, which was set to run from 10:00 to 11:00 P.M.,is still going at 11:04 P.M. Anyway, when I turned it on, there was Fisher Stevens, obviously one of the guest stars for tonight's episode.
