Well, with my kids, the oldest was the favorite because of that, the youngest was the favorite because of that, and the boy in the middle was the favorite because he was the only boy. They were all the 'favorites.' Of course they were! Sue Ellen Sue Ellen... You are so right! They are all "favorites!" I remember when my first grandson was born...I truly, for the first time in my life experienced unconditional love. I couldn't imagine ever loving another child (or anyone for that matter) as much as I did my precious Eli. A few years later my son and his wife were pregnant again and I can remember talking to my dh and telling him I just can't imagine loving any other baby the way I did Eli. Well...of course that lasted about 1 second! I love my precious grandaughter more than life itself. I love them both...each has their own unique qualities and are as different as night and day. Each of them are my "favorite" in different ways! Dusty

Sue Ellen ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sue Ellen, I was just going to write a post, explaining that my mom said my older sibling was the first, so that made her special, I was the 'baby'(lol) of the family, so that made me special, etc.... ...and you wrote that you did that with your children!! It really is a very loving thing to tell kids, and is the perfect solution to leave no child not feeling 'special', or very loved!! I'm not at all surprised reading that you did this with your kids, as you are a very special person yourself, Sue Ellen!! -Echo-
