I sure hope Jill enjoyed the last of her having control while Seneca is around cause it's all over now. When he was teasing and said he was taking control and he thought she'd like it, she may have thought he was teasing, nut he wasn't. No Seneca takes control over everything and I can't stand it! Nooooo Jill, don't do it!!!!!

Nooooo Jill, don't do it!!!!! I agree. I can't even watch their scenes. It's too painful, knowing what's coming, knowing how blindsided she's going to be by his behavior, knowing how he's going to spoiler snow her with that worthless marriage contract, then ignore it as soon as it suits him, knowing he's going to try to take her child by fraud, then try to rape her to produce another. No, even though I know the end of these shows is marching steadily toward us (or we toward it), even so, this is one storyline I simply can't stomach.

Why is it we watch this show over and over, hoping for different outcomes? LOL I mean, I was hoping the other day that Delia would actually jump ... Poor Jill. She tries so hard to be a liberated grown up woman, and she just gets herself into hot water time and again.

It is absolutely universal and goes back through decades of computer conferencing - they always write: loose my mind Or: loosing my mind

Maybe the experience of being frustrated (or whatever) served as a prod, jostling loose the mind that was stuck in place. How can you be sure?~ Seriously, if you're intending to start correcting people's spelling, you're going to have a full-time job on your hands. Some people aren't the best spellers in the world. I'll bet there are things you're bad at, too~ Said not in criticism, but more of a spirit of Kumbaya,

It's not my goal to be the spelling and grammar police.
It is this one in particular - and you may not recognize if you are fairly new (say, within the last 15 years) to computer conferencing.
It is no big deal - it is just amusing how consistently this one word (or two, if you count lose and losing) is always misspelled, and always misspelled the same way, in online communications.

:)I always remember to " lose an O"
BTW- if you are reading this in my signature purple, with a smile and slightly larger font then thank you everyone (especially Debbie) for your tips. I was getting ready to give up, I have been so lost.
So persevere if you are having trouble with the new board.
about Jill- yes, no matter how many times I have seen these episodes I still hope she would run screaming from the room instead of getting involved with Sennie. He has to be my least favorite character.

It's classic "If you can be with the one you love, love the one you're with".
It rarely works, either in the world of song or the world of real life (or even on soap operas).

I have my own set of pet peeves, so I know how you feel. The change I've seen involves written communications in general. Twenty years ago, secretaries knew how to spell, and bosses didn't need to. They dictated or scribbled out correspondence, and secretaries/administrative assistants typed and disseminated it. With the advent of email, everyone does his or her own correspondence, with sometimes horrifying results. I've seen a highly educated woman write of the flu e (an illness), a trip to Cal afornia, a mixed-bre ad dog (rye and pumpernickel, perhaps?). I've seen a trend toward specific misspellings of lots of words, not just one. I will note, however, that at some point lexicographers often just give up and throw in the towel -- though this happens with definitions and pronunciation a lot more often than spelling. Just my thoughts on the subject...

I hear you Debbie and Joe. I have my pet peeves too. Spell check and texting have ruined the English language. My pet peeve is spelling Light Lite and Night Nite. Grrr...

Isn't 'nite' kind of an old-fashioned way of spelling 'night?' Not sure, but I love words that sound like an 18th century gentleman would have spelled them that way.
My least favorite grammar mistake is always using 'John and I,' even when it's used in the objective tense. Sometimes, folks, it really is just John and me. Although, in that sentence, it would correctly be John and I. Oh, nevermind! This is just too confusing! ;D
I do believe I have a loose mind [/b]

OMG Joe! THIS has been my biggest pet peeve lately. No offense to anyone. But I've noticed this the last few years and told my boyfriend about it. I see it ALL the time. And I must say very intelligent people use it. I don't quite understand it. But it drives me bonkers! LOL It's not my goal to be the spelling and grammar police. I find it so interesting that on a thread where Joe is talking about his pet peeves he stumbled across one of mine...misquoting a lyric. I'm sure you meant to say, "If you CAN'T be..." People in glass houses.....

Oh, Susanna, I caught that too! I have my own list of hard-to-spell words, like harrass? and separate? But I never mess up a song lyric!

It's not a misquote. It's just a typo. I'm using a keyboard/computer combination these days that often misses characters. I have to keep double checking my typing...

My writing appeared to suddenly become worse when I received my iPad! One little typing screen that I generally have to use with one finger. "Oops" happens often. Meanwhile, with Jill and Seneca...are we going to have to watch what comes with...um...the beach house of doom in regard to her, or will the series end before that happens? I am talking about Spoiler Baby E's demise. That, for me, is the most difficult part of each rewind I've seen.
