I thought I was planting a row of bell peppers, but I think this one plant is a hot pepper. Can any of you identify this?

I "gurgled" a few images, and you could have California Wonders there - which IS a sweet heirloom pepper.
They also do resemble something from the peppercini family though, which are hot, and in case anyone cares, I don't care for...

What do they taste like? Hot or mild?
Did you add any nitrogen to the soil before you planted them? Nitro is good for tomatoes and other veggies, but too much for peppers will cause them to grow more leaves and less or smaller fruit.

They are spicy buggers (not a problem for me, just a surprise). I did not add nitrogen, but I may have planted them in a bed where I had beans growing last year.
