I had the camera all ready to go and when the hummer showed up I accidentally hit some button that blew everything out of focus. I was able to get it back, but missed about half the vid. One of these days I'm gonna read the manual.

Fia, it was nice to hear your voice. I thought I caught a glimpse of a hummingbird.

Fia, do your little guys tolerate you being close by? Looks like it, unless you were using a powerful zoom on your camera. Ours seem unbothered by humans tending gardens, and just continue with their business. I am amazed by their speed, and I think they are quite territorial with each other. You would not think of an "attack" hummingbird, but I've seen one chase off another to keep all the flowers for himself.

Diane, that's so interesting about territorial hummers. I have never seen 2 feeding from the flowers or feeder at the same time. Except once, when it looked like a momma and baby. The baby was tiny and followed the larger one everywhere. That was a few years ago.

Rainbows, SusanSusan, unfortunately I was cursing under my breath. I will conquer that camera one of these days.
