I did however love CH and thought she was likeable and "normal" in every way Pat was really a fool during this time

Pat was really a fool during this time Fer shure! But do remember, that he was pushed into it (marrying Dee) by his mother.

Many interesting perceptions/perspectives about the character of Faith, written on this thread! I may be the one and only person who thinks each actress brought something interesting to the character, with each of their performances as Faith. JMO. -Echo-

No one pointed out how wrong it was for Faith to take up with her sister’s long time love (and her former fiancé’s brother) so quickly after F&J broke up. I actually liked Frank and Faith together, even though it seemed like it should have been extremely uncomfortable for them to be so. The way their friendship turned into romance seemed completely natural to me -- of course, all in a warped sort of way, since they both were on the rebound!

Spoiler:
That’s why I could never buy F&F as a couple. It was so clearly being set up as only a rebound relationship.
The majority of their conversations were about Jill. Faith was constantly whining how scared she was that Jill would take Frank away from her - the way Jill took everything from her (even though there had never been a hint of that before.) Frank was always trying to convince Faith he was over Jill, when it was clear he wasn’t.
Seeing how close the sister’s are in these episodes and even at the end of FC’s run, it's hard to believe the writers had their relationship take such an ugly turn!

More spoiler stuff: I could buy that at least some of Faith's vitriol toward Jill was fueled by her alcoholism. That was some hard drinkin'! But, you're right; the relationship was set up to fail, just because Faith made it all about Frank and Jill, not Frank and herself.
