She (and the actress who portrays her) is one of my favorite characters. With SoapNet going off the air in January, will I get to see her?

Thanks for the quick reply! That is good news. I won't get to see her for long, but at least I will see her. I never got to see her husband Bill either, so at least I will probably see him too.
It makes me so sad to think that we are going to lose RH. I am losing All My Children in Sept. and then RH in Jan. I don't know what I am going to do!

Playing an often unlikeable character, she was outstanding throughout. I also liked the late Wesley Addy, who played Bill Woodward.

Bob, I completely agree about Louise Schaeffer. Rae is an awesome character and her acting skills were a huge part of that. I love her "friendship" with Roger and her interactions with Kim. This is my first rewind, so I look forward to seeing Bill and seeing the beginning of her storyline.
It makes me so sad to think that I will never see Rae and Michael Pavel again.

Louise Shaffer's birthday was yesterday and several people sent her birthday wishes on Facebook. She said it felt like she was having "a great big party." (Facebook is nice that way.)
And Kelly sent a big hello to her "mama."

I hated Rae just hated her in the original run

but that was how I was supposed to feel I think, at least at first
it was only on soapnet that I saw that it was her beliveable portrayal that made her seem so awful....she is a great actor
