What priceless scenes:
First, when Delia parades back and forth in front of the camera, going off and on camera as her lawyer watches with an increasingly amazed face at Delia's acting prowess. It made me laugh aloud.
And then there was the hearing itself, when Ms Burney's signal set Delia off to the emotional races. So funny.
And then, lastly, there was Delia's face closeup in the hearing, as she emoted with every ounce of her being.
It was a priceless Ryan's Hope day.

Delia was at the top of her form today. I only wish I didn't find her so insufferably annoying, like fingernails on a blackboard, when she is.

I haven't seen today's episodes yet, but as I was watching yesterday, I was really so impressed with Ilene Kristen's acting, even when she was not speaking - her facial expressions, the look in her eyes, the alternating of anger, bewilderment, fear, sadness - during the scenes when Maeve, Pat and Bob were testifying. A few times the cameras did close-ups of her and I just felt her expressions were spot on, reflecting exactly how someone might look as they were hearing all these things being said about themselves.
Sometimes I get so frustrated with this show, particularly lately when I am so irritated with Mary, but then I see a scene like yesterday's and am once again drawn fully back in to the Ryan whirl. Jackie

I've felt less compelled by Ryan's Hope since Our Kenneth left so abruptly but the custody hearing has changed all that. IK is brilliant in her performance. She is expressing so much even when she has no lines. She has the most expressive face.
I wonder why no one in Dee's world ever suggested she go into acting. Delia was made for the stage.

Ilene is awesome and Delia is such a great character. I was rivited to the custody hearing. I feel so sorry for poor Roger, he gave up his sister for her schemes. The custody hearing brought out great stuff in Maeve as well. I love hearing the little tidbits of backstory, like when Maeve told about first meeting Delia and what she was like. This show is amazing. I love it so much!

I also love this part of RH. Ilene is amazing , making us love/hate Dee all at the same time. We are so lucky to be seeing this great soap cast so many times, and unlucky as this will probably be the last time around (for me anyway, no tapes etc). I can't wait to get home and watch each day ! And I really like Andrew Robinson this time much more than ever for some reason. He delivers those lines and never once looking at the teleprompter ! Such a nice change from Plank Frank. LuAnn
