Monday morning has new meaning, coming as it does after each and every Ryan's Hope-less weekend.
If I had more self control, I'd watch one episode on Friday and one on Saturday, leaving Sunday as the only Ryan's Hope-less day.
Ah, well. =) Monday morning - and maybe the judge's custody decision, too - is a mere gaggle of hours away.
And only you guys, in this whole world, would understand how on this Sunday evening I am looking forward to Ryan's Hope - and Delia's eruptive emotions - in the morning.

Carol, I totally agree!! I watched all mine this weekend too and I wish I had at least one episode of my favorite Riverside residents! Looking forward to the custody case and seeing if anyone will ever come to see Jill so she can tell them her problem!

I don't find myself missing it on weekends-in fact I sometimes let them pile up a bit and then watch several in a row. I do find myself missing OLTL over the weekend though-AMC used to be my favorite but for the last 6months or so OLTL has been fantastic.
I am watching RH this time knowing it is more than likely the last time I will ever get to see it.

The beginning of Ryan's Hope - til Catherine Hicks, Kate Mulgrew and Ilene Kristen leave - is my favorite part.
The only part I can't say I enjoy is Jack. They have him being SO dark in the beginning, and we all know (SPOILER)
that he ends up being just great, eventually. But at this point, with his baby, he's just twisted, even given his special issues.

I've been fine with Jack to this point, and that will continue until he decides to take Mary up on her offer of an annulment. Once the famous basement reconciliation happens, he's fine forever. But oh, that long period in between. It's just awful, especially for viewers who really like Jack, as I do.
I suspect I'll FF through that part this time.
Of course, when the storyline is finally resolved, we learned that it is all Jack's fault. Of course. Everything is.

That's 254 episodes, or roughly 25 weeks' worth, now that SoapNet is no longer preempting on Mondays. With the delay in the debut of Disney Jr. (what an odious name), it seems like six more months of RH, which would take us to mid-February 2012, is not too much to hope for.

you're so right: Disney Jr. Odious and unnecessary.

Disney Jr blech.....what toddler needs a 24 hour channel? Especially when there are a million kids channels as it is? What I would give to know we could squeeze a few more months out of SoapNet and RH. I came in last time right around when Delia had her "famous hairbrush" scene! I was so hoping to get to at least see up to that, but figure its unlikely. I will be happy with whatever extra time I can have with RH.

I record on my DVR but only save them for about a week. I'm pretty sure others are recording them and saving them on disk.

I plan to save the rest of them....to help ease the Ryan's Hope-less times.
